Oct. 19th, 2016 05:04 amCharacter Name and Journal: Luvander ( Dragons's Name: Charlotte Dragon Color: Copper overall, with some details (such as wing membranes, her belly, the crest of spikes trailing from her head along the back of her neck) in a dark, metallic green. Dragon Eye Type: They are strangely flat and mechanic-looking. Dark green sclera, copper irises, very thin pupils which practically look like an even black line painted right across her eyes. Lidless and seemingly unblinking, though she has translucent scales that cover them in the manner of snake eyes. Dragon Size: Fully grown, she will be somewhere between Medium and Standard. Her body is thin, lithe, and very aerodynamic. Her wings are large enough to support her in flight with a rider, but more shaped for speed than endurance. Currently, though, she's a hatchling. Wings Y/N: Two. Number of Legs: Four. Skin Type: Scales, though it does its best to mimic the appearance of interlocking metal plates, down to details that look like bolts, rivets and even cogs. For something that looks mainly like a big lizard, her skin is surprisingly hot to the touch, though never enough to burn. Dragon Diet: Compounds of minerals and metals, mainly, as well as naturally occurring mineral oils and any artificially created fuel available. Magic Element: Light Learned Magical Abilities: Healing Light Main Dragon Personality Traits: Like her Scion, Charlotte is a very chatty creature. Sure, she can't speak, but she will chirp and whirr and keep up an endless stream of other little noises. Add that to her fondness for drama, and all in all she's a pretty hard dragon to ignore, and she clearly enjoys all attention, both good and bad. Unlike Luvander, she is fairly contrary and argumentative in nature, and has a hard time backing down or compromising. She can be quite competitive. She very rarely takes anything seriously, however - not even the things she really should. Danger to herself doesn't faze her one bit, and even when others are on the line she might just decide to show off or attempt to toy with the enemy for her own amusement. Should anyone seriously threaten someone she cares about, however, that's another matter. Then she'll get nasty - even cruel, if she think the circumstances call for it. She has a rather duplicitous nature in many ways, and will never show all that she is feeling, preferring to reserve judgement to when she feels it's necessary. Friendly to Other Dragons? Yes, overall. Her quarrelsome and competitive streak might lead to some teasing and challenging, but that's really just how she makes friends. She very much enjoys caring for and fussing over other dragons. Friendly to Characters other than its Scion? Yes, although with some reservations. Her relationship with her Scion starts out pretty badly, and it will always be Complicated, leading her to be more suspicious of Scions in general, and protective of their dragons if she feels they're not doing a good job. Other: She looks like a flesh-and-blood replica of the mechanical dragon Luvander used to fly, Yesfir, which is a fairly sore point with him, but one he's trying to work past. She's named after the middle class and craftsmen's district in Thremedon where Luvander grew up. The city is built in three tiers (Miranda for the upper classes, Charlotte for the middle, Molly for the slums), and his fondness for his home town made him pick the name. |
